Young children need caring adults and positive environments.

Young children thrive in environments that are emotionally nurturing and supported by caring adults. Social-emotional development is crucial during early childhood, as it forms the foundation for how children understand themselves, manage feelings, and interact with others. By fostering these skills early, caregivers and educators can significantly influence children’s long-term well-being and success.

Topics in the Community of Learners Series:

  • Creating a Supportive Environment
  • Maintaining A Supportive Environment
  • Partnering with Parents to Support Attachment
  • Being Attuned to the Inner Child
