If you do not yet have an account, you will create one on the checkout page.

  1. Click the “Register” link for the course. This will take you to the product page which provides more information about the course. 
  2. On that page, choose “Add to Cart.”
  3. If you have a coupon code, enter it and click “Apply Coupon.”
  4. Click the “Proceed to Checkout” button.
  5. In the “Billing Details” boxes, fill out YOUR name, email, agency name, and phone number. 
  6. In the Participant Information for Courses:
    • Mark who the course is for, what state that person needs credit in (OH or KY), and what county you work in (i.e., Hamilton, Clermont)
    • Under account username: Create the username that you want to use for this site. I suggest using your email address
    • Create the password you want to use for this account
  7. Agree to the terms and conditions, and then select “Place Order.”

Virtual, Instructor-Led on Microsoft Teams

This training explores how adversity and stress affect families and young children and provides trauma-informed strategies, including Motivational Interviewing and protective factors, to support families at risk of toxic stress.

This training consists of a self-paced online module, a virtual component (September 23: 1:00 – 3:30 pm), and an in-person component (September 30: 1:00 – 3:30 pm). You must complete all three components.

Become an expert in facilitating Parent Cafés designed to strengthen the wellness of families. Training meets the guidelines for certification as an OCTF Parent Café Coordinator.

October 29 & November 5
9:00 – 4:00 pm

You must attend both sessions.

This program enables certified Parent Café Coordinators to gain the skills necessary to provide Parent Café Coordinator training.

Eligibility: Participants have successfully implemented Parent Cafés in their community and have received their OCTF certification as a Parent Café Coordinator.
