Meet Me Where I Am: Promoting the Protective Factors

Meet Me Where I Am is a workbook for early childhood professionals, teachers, and family service providers interested in supporting the wellness and resilience of families and their young children.  This workbook provides an overview of practical information and reflective and practice activities designed to aid professionals in engaging families and promoting protective factors.

Participants are required to access or download the Meet Me Where I Am workbook. Before beginning each training module, participants should complete the related sections of the workbook.

Protective factors are characteristics that promote family wellness and ensure families are well-positioned to overcome challenges. This training reviews the Strengthening Protective Factors Families framework and provides practical strategies for implementing six protective factors in programs serving families with young children.
